Hello from Dayton, OH

Hello from the Dayton/Western Ohio Laurell K. Meetup Group!

Right now this group consists of me, my SO, and two people who apparently haven't checked their accounts since the summer. So if anyone nearby (Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indy, etc.) would like to combine groups until mine gets off the ground, or just invite me to their meetups, that would be great! Also any suggestions for increasing group membership are welcome.

How about posting those tear-away flyers at a local bookstore or two? I also printed up business-type cards and hand them out whenever I think it's appropriate. The documents are in the upper right hand corner of the Organizer Resource Center.

I am in Pittsburgh and yes I am suffering from the lack of active members and being able to email them directly to see what is up with their accounts.

So far I have gotten a good number of people to read the books, Friends over the internet and such who enjoy scifi/horror, as well as friends in NYC where I grew up. But so far no locals interested or ones that have the time for meetup.

*sigh*

Anyway I hit my local vampire meetup group to see if anyone was interested there and other like meetups but they are not active either.
